Additional Information:
Late evening trains between Bristol Temple Meads and Cardiff Central will be amended as follows:

* The 1650 Penzance (2128 Bristol Temple Meads) to Cardiff Central will be diverted after Filton Abbey Wood to terminate at Bristol Parkway. Change at Bristol Temple Meads for a later rail connection to Patchway and Severn Tunnel Junction, and at Bristol Parkway for an alternative rail connection to Newport and Cardiff Central.
* The 2023 Portsmouth Harbour to Cardiff Central will terminate at Bristol Temple Meads. A replacement bus will run from Bristol Temple Meads to Cardiff Central.

* The 2159 & 2247 Cardiff Central to Bristol Temple Meads will not run. Replacement buses will run instead.

In some cases, passengers will need to use alternative scheduled rail services rather than the replacement buses. Please check your journey at nationalrail.co.uk

Until 1245 (departing 1220) London Paddington to Swansea and 1127 Carmarthen to London Paddington (inclusive), trains between London Paddington and south Wales will be diverted between Swindon and Newport, not calling at Bristol Parkway.

Trains TO South Wales will depart EARLIER from London Paddington, Reading and Swindon.

Replacement buses will run between Bristol Parkway and Newport.
Passengers travelling between London Paddington/Reading/Swindon and Bristol Parkway should, where no through train exists, travel via Bristol Temple Meads.

In addition:

* The 0858 Bristol Parkway to Swansea will start from Newport at 0925. Passengers travelling from Bristol Parkway should use a later replacement bus (at 0955) to Newport, for a later rail connection from Newport to Cardiff Central and Swansea
* The 0955 Bristol Parkway to London Paddington will depart EARLIER at 0950 and call additionally at Didcot Parkway

All day, most High Speed trains to and from London Paddington will be retimed. Many trains will depart EARLIER than usual.

Most fast trains between London Paddington and Oxford will not run (trains between London Paddington / Oxford and North Cotswolds stations WILL continue to run, but will not call at Radley). Additional trains will run between Didcot Parkway, Radley and Oxford.

Trains between London Paddington and Swindon / Bristol Parkway / Cardiff Central will call additionally at Slough, Maidenhead and Twyford.

All day, most local stopping trains from London Paddington to Reading and Didcot Parkway will only run between Reading and Didcot Parkway. Passengers at Slough, Maidenhead and Twyford should use services running between London Paddington and Swindon / Bristol Parkway / Cardiff Central (see above).

Due to engineering work taking place elsewhere on the network, passengers making through journeys on these trains will be required to change trains, as shown:

* 1125 Cardiff Central to Portsmouth Harbour will start from Bristol Parkway at 1200 and will terminate at Westbury at 1259. A connecting rail service will run at 1304 from Westbury to Portsmouth Harbour
* 1425 Cardiff Central to Portsmouth Harbour will terminate at Bristol Temple Meads at 1508. A connecting rail service will run at 1518 from Bristol Temple Meads to Portsmouth Harbour
* 1108 Portsmouth Harbour to Cardiff Central will terminate at Westbury at 1258. A connecting rail service will run at 1306 from Westbury to Bristol Temple Meads arriving at 1350, with a further connecting rail service at 1415 from Bristol Temple Meads to Cardiff Central
